Alumina Trihydrate (ATH) is a flame retardant additive used widely in compounds that can accept filler powders. It is also used in applications where acid resistance is needed. Alumina Trihydrate is approximately one-third chemically combined water, which begins to be released at 220o C (428o F). This release results in active flame retardance and smoke suppression. ATH is a white crystal powder available in several degrees of whiteness, particle sizes and particle distributions.

The R.J. Marshall Company processes and ships from three processing locations in the U.S. and many convenient warehouses.
